Meet the Makers.
Jenn works directly with six artisan groups across Bali and Java. Each community specializes in a heritage craft which has been passed down through generations. They are honored to share their craft with you and take great pride in creating the highest-quality bags that will last a lifetime.
Thanks to your support we continue to expand our production providing new jobs and skill training which helps provide stability for each family and the community.
Back in 2018, we captured footage to give you a behind-the-scenes tour of the village and how the ata grass bags are made. Get a quick tour here!
Why bring Bali to you
It all started in 2014. Two weeks in Indonesia became two months. Year after year I returned. While I sat at my desk in San Francisco, I daydreamed of the wonderful culture, crafts and the unmatched natural beauty of Indonesia.
By the end of 2016, I started working remotely and was no longer confined to a desk, a city, or a country. Freedom. I bought the first flight I could to Indonesia.
Today, the ata bag is a staple in my wardrobe. It transports me to my happy place no matter what city, season, or occasion. Compliments piled from friends and strangers alike and I knew I needed to find a way to share my favorite slice of paradise with you.
